CHARACTERISTICS OF THE APOSTOLATE
- Spiritual and Corporal works of mercy
- Intercession, imploring Divine Mercy with Christ at the throne of MERCY, for the whole world to prepare and open hearts to the Word and the Spirit
- Teaching others to proclaim Mercy by Word, Prayer, and Deed
- Direct ministry to the poor, to the needy and to the miserable
- Suffering as a channel of Mercy for others, offering with the Eucharist personal and global suffering [Lumen Gentium, #34]
THE LIFE OF THE DIVINE MERCY BROTHERS
The Foundation
- Jesus Christ, our Lord is the foundation of our community life
- Conversion is a daily turning to Jesus, confessing Him as our personal Savior
- Charism is the gift of the anointing of the Holy Spirit poured into our hearts
- Commitment is primarily to the Lord. The natural agreement to Jesus Christ our Lord is a common union in Christ
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE APOSTLES OF DIVINE MERCY
- Community is needed to proclaim by a corporate witness His Mercy, calling conversion, to trust
- To Train the laity to proclaim Divine Mercy in the power of the Holy Spirit
- To support and protect one another in spiritual warfare
- To be the spiritual power base of prayer and Eucharistic Adoration in pleading for God's Mercy on the world
Our response to God's covenant with us is to live out the whole-heartedly and Eucharisitically the three-fold gospel commandment:
- Be merciful [LK 6:36]
- Be humble [1 Peter 5:6]
- Be holy [1 Peter 1:16 ]
In this way we reflect the life of the most Holy Trinity:
- The Father who is rich in mercy [Eph 2:4]
- The Son who humbled Himself [Phil 2:8]
- The Holy Spirit who fills our hearts [Rom 5:15]
In this way we can live the Magnificate of Mary and:
- Rejoice always
- Pray without ceasing
- In all things give thanks; and so fulfill the will of God in Jesus Christ [1 Thess 5:16-18]

In living a life of trust,humility and mercy we also reflect the charisms of the Saints who rejoiced, prayed and gave thanks always and everywhere.. From the pierced Merciful Heart of Jesus, we learn humble obdience and trust [MT 11:28-29.]From the Merciful Heart of Jesus, we receive His MERCY to be as merciful as the Father [ LK 6:36 ] and is: EUCHARISTIC--being centered in the LIturgy; MARIAN: in that we totally consecrate to the Immaculate Heart of Mary; SCRIPTURAL--in origin and in the practice and ministry gifts of the Holy Spirit. The CHARISM of MERCY challenges us to be a radiant trust in the Lord and to be MERCIFUL.
DIVINE MERCY PURPOSE AND NATURE OF THE APOSTOLIC BOTHERS ARE: to practice and proclaim God's mercy, we implore, teach, and to administer mercy-that God's infinite mercy be known to IMPLORE, TEACH, and to ADMINISTER MERCY.
Our general purpose is to GROW IN HOLINESS in union with the merciful Savior through living the Gospel counsels according to Our Constitutions, and glorify God's mercy by our life of TRUST,HUMILITY, and MERCY.

OBLATE OF SUFFERING--are those Oblates Of Divine Mercy and that the Lord asks to share in HIS OWN SUFFERING for the sake of salvation in union with the Eucharistic Lord as a plea for MERCY on us and on the whole world.
POSTULANCY is a personal time of preparattion and learning, I am learning about myself and learning about the Apostolic Brothers of the DIvine Mercy. Through this process, I know that I have been both blessed and prepared in multiple ways for my future years in formation, to witness to the truth of Jesus Christ as an Apostolic Divine Mercy Brother.
The NOVITIATE is the most important stage of formation. During this year, the spiritual foundation is laid, upon which the rest of the novice's religious life as a Brother will be discerned.
All of these works will be done out of our LOVE OF God, and in THANKFULNESS for His great MERCY.
For, "if anyone has the world's good and sees his brother in need, and he choses his heart against Him.,HOW DOES GOD'S LOVE ABIDE IN HIM?
Each time you enter a Church, you are to say: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and Divinity of your dearlly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the WHOLE WORLD. Pray as much as you can for the DYING. Be assured that the grace oif ETERNAL SALVATION for certain depends on certain ON OUR PRAYERS.
In conclusion a vocaion is all about spening yourself for the sake of CHrist and the Church. It is about fulfilling that mission that God gives to each one of us in Christ. To the degree that we SURRENDER and STRIVE to fulfill that mission statement, is the degree to which we will give ourselves. It calls us out of ourselves towards God and neighbor . It is very paradoxical, We give ourselves away in oder to find OURSELVES.

Adoration of t Blessed Sacrament[ Divine Mercy [Brothers will take turns during the Eucharistic Adoration until 2:a,m.
In addition, the Divine Mercy Brother carries out household duties, luturgy functions. The Divine Mercy Brother also attends weekly seminars and monthly house retreat.
